getting a Tuscan 2 s

just put deposit down on new tuscan 2 s. What a fantastic car. must say though all the negative stuff on here from lots of posts is very hard to swallow when your looking at TVR's. I've allways wanted one and have waited til now for a couple of reasons, one is financial the other was waiting till the reveiws were all good and the build quality better. I was really happy when i drove it and buzzing when put money down, I then read some of the reviews on this site and it took the wind out of me. I except that it might leak, it will probably rattle and that some times i might hate it but just look at them and listen, wow. I have asked loads of different people, some of who are supposed to be in the know, about whats going on at the factory and mainly I've been getting a things will all be good attitude.

Now that was silly wasn't it.
According to recent posts on here, the warranty ain't worth the paper its written on, but you will need the warranty as the engine will last for the trip back from blackpool only, everything else will fall apart as the workers no longer give a damm, management won't care and will tell you to 'stick it' if you complain. And anyway the car is overpriced rubbish that at a Dawoo Matiz could outpace - plus you can't buy one as there is no-one left to build it. All in all you should cancel your order and go buy a Bogster.
Luckily not everything posted on here is the truth and its much more likely you will receive a very well built, super quick, gorgeous looking sports car on time and with no need to claim on the warranty, which even if you do, will be honoured without the slightest complaint - and everyone(including me) will be extremely jealous

Well done Craig at least there is some one else who can see through all the negative post on here. My new Tuscan S is one of the few in build at the moment if some of the postings are to be believed 
The previous Tuscan I had was a 2000 model and was fantastic,I run for more than five years & nearly 30K miles with very few problems. The new ones though are in a different league though much better built, & there has been a lot of development in the chassis & engine departments. As for the cost looking at a price list from 2000 and now the cost of base model has not changed much,options such as full leather is actually cheaper now than it was then!

I bought a Sagaris new 12 months ago. All warranty work done without hesistation or complaint. The ownership experience just keeps getting better and better. You'll have a ball this summer and if TVR goes bust you'll have a classic, collectors item too - no lose situation!
