First win for Sagaris at Silverstone
(Posted on 15/04/2006 by Ralph Dodds)
Congratulations to Tim Hood who this afternoon took the chequered flag at Silverstone in the V8 Sagaris in only its second outing in the Dunlop Tuscan Challenge

Just been surfing the TVRCC site

Nice to see a Sagaris win a race, even though they had to fit a V8 to do it

V8 V8 V8 the stuff of dreams

Sadly I think you'll find that it's a Tuscan (race car not the S6 road car) rebodied with a Sag shell. V8 in a Sag shouldm be no problem though. The plasticman has already fitted one into the T350

I put an ajp V8 into a Tuscan chassis today (21/11/05.) It fits extremely easily apart from different mountings will have to be made . I have the engine seven inches ( timing cover ) back from the chassis rail and it looks as if even the exhaust manifolds will fit , not that I would use them. David

JR is correct, as usual tuscan chassis, with mods and a very lightweight saggy body. Very nicely turned out with some good mods and more to come.

Boosted.
