Touch Up Rosso Pearl

Washed my car last week, I know, its good to treat her now and again, and indeed was horrified at number of stonechips I now have, including a nice one @ size of a 10p!

There's a lot of posts on the topic but no definitive method. I understand its a combo of colours, so has anyone any tips other than a total respray :sarcastic:

Nothing wrong with a few stone chips. Let them get seriously bad and go for a re-sprayed nose. It can be matched, I've just had some paintwork done on mine and you would never know.

Stone chips mean it gets USED..........























and you drive to close to the car in front

I understand there were 3 Rosso Pearls used by TVR. Early cars used (1), middle (2) and late cars used (3). The reason for this is that the colour suffered from the paint pigments "blooming" - the later paints reduced this to some extent. Cars left out in bright sunlight would therefore be more affected and if one side / panel consistently got more sunlight you could get differences around the car. Matching colours on a respray therefore can be a challenge with this colour depending on how good/bad your paint has faired. However do ensure you use the correct paint number as a starting point.
