bought a v8 s reg number J519 LLW anybody out there previously owned it .let me know if you loved it or abused it so i can get an idea of its history.Also what are the compression readings for the V8

Is it silver? Think I looked at this at Fernhurst last year. Didn't think it pulled as well as a V8 should when I test drove it, and it was not as fast as the one I eventually bought. Not sure that has helped you much.

Now why should us V6 lot be jealous when they sound so much better than the v8

ok ok lads enough of the handbags at dawn about which one sounds better , at the end of the day they all sound better than some jap rubbish. WHAT ABOUT MY CAR AND ITS HISTORY AND COMPRESSION READINGS.!!!

Typical compression test results would be between 150 psi and 170 psi, but all eight should be within at worst 10% and ideally 5% of each other (eight at 150 psi is fine, seven at 170 and one at 150 isn't so good).

Ours was originally (1991) registered as J549 LLW and came from The Chequered Flag in Chiswick - maybe yours did too?
