Just had all four split rims done by wicked wheels - they look amazing and at £250 for the lot, I am really impressed. Highly recommended- they look brand new.

Wicked wheels sorted a scuff on my 996 C4 about the size of 10p on the front bumber. It's like new. dealer paid for it to be done, so I didn't pay a penny. BONUS !!!!

Can you tell me more about how you went about it? Whenever I've spoken to alloy wheel refurb people (including Wicked Wheels) they always quote around £150 each for the Sport designs (just the edges need doing on mine) and insist that it takes 1-2 weeks during which time they will leave the car on blocks! They also say that they can't return them to their original state as they won't relacquer. This is obviously no solution so I've currently got the PAJ booked into Porsche West London to sort the wheels out during the service, but they want £195+VAT per wheel!

Have you tried Diamond Styling in Sevenoaks; they're generally known as one of the best in the business. They're on 01732 779100.

I had all 4 996TT alloys done by WW about 6 months ago, just over £200 all in (a couple were badly scuffed) Very good job indeed.
Went shopping yesterday & knocked one on a high kerb.....bugger ! Will have to go back ^ get it sorted.

They offered me a choice. Send the wheels away for them to split the rim and charge £100 a wheel, or an on site service where they don't split the rim, and it's only £55 plus vat per wheel. As I couldn't be without the car for a week, I took the latter option, and glad I did. Very nice indeed.

And was the finish identical to that prior to when they were done ie a varnish?

I had my wheels done at OPC West London in connection with a service last month and it cost me app. 450 pounds, took one week and they came back as new.

all they do is send it straight to WW or similar and mark up the price to you by 100% - don't feed the greedy so-and-so's

Was that £450 for all 4 or just 2?
