Hello - it's mine - thank you! There's also a 5 page feature in this month's Retro Car magazine - dead chuffed! I have just completed a 2 year restoration c/o Neil Hookway. His workshop is near Waitrose in Southend.... Emma

Hi Emma

Turns out that I have seen your car a few times since as my office is about 100 yards away from Pauls place which is next door to where I presume you work.
It looks better close up, very nice restore.

Thanks Grant. I don't work next to Paul's - although Neil (the mechanic) does...
I have waited a long time for my car to be completed and am so pleased with the results. Neil did an amazing job - he's a real perfectionist. Everything has been shotblast/powdercoated - repaired/renovated or fabricated/replaced. Car runs beautifully and thanks to a cooling system that actually works it doesn't overheat either.

Hello Emmawavey,

Still drooling after seeing your car at the St Mary's do at the week end. I have to say that this car is absolutely stunning up close too.

Cheers Matthew.

She's a great little car. Am searching for a wedge now to keep her company. You don't know of a good 400/450SE do you???

Anyone know if this edition of the magazine is still in the shops? Had a quick look yesterday but could not find it.

I'm lining my 3000M for a rebuild next year and I'm desperate for a read!

It should be Steve, I think there is a few days before next months cones out. Retro cars isn't easy to find- big WHSmiths have it.

Great - have now sent the wife out on a mission to WHS to get it.

However, as she admits to having no interest whatsoever in cars I'll probably get home from work tonight to find she's bought Vintage Bus Collector or something similar.

I was lucky - my boyfriends bought 5 copies! Two were ordered via our local newsagent - the other 3 were in WHS in Southend.

Thank you for your kind comments. Sadly we missed this year's event but you never know - next year we may be there with Vixey + our new wedge (which I'm still looking for...!).
