Does it only apply to camera snaps?
I have still heard nothing about my speeding charge from over 14 days ago. Is this good or bad?

As you were stopped at the roadside and told that you were to be reported for speeding, then the 14 days does not apply - the BiB will have given you verbal notice of intention to prosecute (He did, didn't he?).

I think they now have 6 months to instigate any proceedings.

They did state i was being charged with speeding. If they could wait till September after insurance renewal that would be fine by me.

No, only those you already have endorsed on your licence.
