Is there anyone else out there unfortunate enough to be using the above programme. I work for a small accountant and we are at our wits end as to how to produce P60s etc for 50 plus companies.
The Iris support line is an object lesson in how NOT to help your customers. We had one occasion where a remedial utility offered by the firm was unknown by another worker on the helpline (I use the word "help" advisedly). Waits of 2 hours are common, if you can get a place in the queue in the first place.
It appears that one of the problems (and I am not a techie) is the migration to a .net platform without (apparently) any testing - other than on the end-user, such as ourselves.
The problems range from simple errors through to dropping of data and not recognising files. Just as we crack one problem, another two or three come along.
We have zero faith in the product that is costing our firm time (and hence money), deadlines are looming and we are getting seriously concerned as to how to comply.
The program was good value, intuitive, and well supported when we bought it a few years ago. Today it is none of these. How times change!

We are not in the least impressed

Damn straight. You are not alone...

Two of our clients use it and after the last update CD are having all kinds of problems with it not behaving in the way you'd expect, and not being able to close off year ends properly. Just bizzare random glitches in various areas of the program. Its taking a couple of hours a pop to get through to support. Very frustrating as there's not a lot we can do to help.

Edit: I don't think its the .net version, as that was two or three updates ago and the problems our clients are seeing began abruptly after the latest update. Shame as I beleive IRIS to have a very good reputation prior to this.

You will have difficulty with getting support from any large payroll software company in April for obvious reasons its their busiest month. This year is particularly bad because of the enforced use of online fileing for larger companies.
I worked for a small Accounts software company when K codes were introduced. Infact i did the mods to the payroll software. It all went swimmingly well until were asked how to enter a 4 digit K code....
