I've never had the special tool that presumable goes into the 2 small holes. What can I use instead?

Thanks.

Don't know which type of wheels you're talking about, but the obvious option is to remove the wheel and push the centre cap out from the other side.

Last time I used 2 small screwdrivers, they pushed into the holes perfectly with a little tight fit, then angled them slightly & pulled, hey presto.

Small allen key held in a pair of mole grips. Small end of allen key in 1 hole and pull off.

Get an old wire coat-hanger and cut a section of it, and form it into a suitable shape.

..or if you can be arsed, take off wheel, tap back of centrecap with hammer handle end. pops out with a satisfying 'plunk'. A shame to take a hammer to an RS, though..
Still got the Citroens?

Grumble grumble..The special has been in a mates garage for a year now, gradually seizing up. Last time I checked, starter had seized with lack of use. No space or time, wife hates it (she thinks the kids are safer in the 911, ha ha). The beachcomber hasn't turned a wheel in 5 years. I am an embarassment to the faith..
