window adjustment

I've adjusted the height of my windows, but the passenger side, (the right side on my car) is not quite parallel with the roof section.

The bible and the manual do not address this, except to say that it could be the door that has dropped. Mine is a bit high at the rear so obviously not the case.
I shall be having a good look inside to see what can be done, but if anyone has already done this I would like to hear about it.
I will post the outcome of my efforts.

If Im not mistaken, its just a simple case of shimming out the window runners with washers until you get both runners even before tightnening both up.

Jeff, I've tried to fix this problem over the last 15 years of owning my car. Eventually I resorted to fiberglassing the edge of the roof panel to suit the window. I was having a new hood anyway and it seemed like a good opportunity to fix this.

The height of the window can be easily adjusted inside with a tension cable that limits the travel and this will stop the glass from catching the roof when you close the door.
It does not fix the out of parallel problem though. There doesnt appear to be a way to make one end of the glass higher or lower in relation to the other but please post your findings as one of mine is slightly out of parallel too and this makes it so that the glass doesnt quite follow the rake angle of the front door / screen pillar.

Well I seem to have had some success.
I took off the oval panel (5 screws) exposing the four bolts and the two bolts. I loosened them all and levered the window in the desired direction, the two bolts moved as I levered the window so I quickly tightened them. The window is now pretty good.

There is not a lot of adjustment, but I think more could be obtained by making the holes for the two bolts a bit larger and probably releasing the front window channel then adding an extra washer as a shim so as not to pull it back down when retightening.

Now I can get that new soft top!

Oh, I forgot to mention, if you leave your car for four days without the inner door panels the courtesy lights stay on and drain the battery. Doh!
