Decided to sell my 575M which I've only had for a few weeks (don't ask!) and wondered about others experiences of selling these privately. As a starting point, I'm putting it in the classifieds here and have priced it about £8k-£10k below screen prices at main dealers. As far as I can see, it's by far the cheapest one around, and absolutely correct in every way. Am I likely to get any response/interest? It came from main dealers and has all warranty etc. Suppose I'm asking whether I'm wasting my time, or whether I should just give it back to the dealer on SOR to price it back up to retail. Any advice gratefully received.

Bad luck. Perhaps the dealer would take it back from you for a few thousand less than you paid? Might be the best solution (i.e. quick and clean.) This is never going to be a good situation for you so maybe a quick solution with no come back is the best one?

There is a chap on fcars.co.uk looking for one, might be worth a look (in the wanted section).

Good luck, sounds like you're going about it the right way, just be very careful about (i)insurance for test drives and (2) payment - best way is BACS transfer.

Don't think it's just 575's...most Ferarri's seem to go through a lot of owners. Can't say it's a Ferrari thing with me though...I've had cars from a whole variety of manafacturers which have been sold before the V5 came back from Swansea. Maybe I just don't like cars.

800 miles per owner sounds mad! Ferraris do have many owners, but surely that's too many??

Edited to remove Grocer's apostrophe....

Besides, every time a dealer sells a car it normally has a service.... so you could say five services as well as five owners
