The TV game show
If you've not seen it, look out for it in the TV schedules, top shout at the telly TV
Basically 5 members of the public decide who to give £50k to, out of 5 other members of the public based on age, job, salery, belifes, looks, etc
Some real un-PC comments and views, which at time reflects some of the views seen on here from time to time, so just goes to show what the general public think.
The winner of the last show (which is repeated sometime in the week, the 1st showing is on Saturday, so look away now if your planning to watch it and want a surprise) stated she was against animal testing and instead of fluffy bunnies, convicted criminals should be used
And one chap was eliminated basically because he had a pierced face

Hmmmm .. so fluffy bunnies are more valuable than human beings? Right.. That's exactly what fcuks me off about the animal rights lobby.. deluded cretins..
I'm afraid I cannot watch this show as my TV would break if I threw a shoe at it.
We don't want to do medical tests on convicts - we want them to resurface the A303.

Carzee, absolutley spot on. I agree 100%...
At the risk of being out of step with one and all( hey it wouldnt be the first time..
)...er..where was i?..oh yeah..ahem.
The fluffy bunnies argument and meaty bunnies args etc...i have a real problem with something being "USED" for whatever purpose we (big heads) see fit.
Suppose, just suppose that smart as we are, that we wernt the top predator on this planet, that there was another species that preyed on us.....
And suppose that their point of view regarding us was our current viewpoint on say, oh, fluffy bunnies....
Thatd make us the prey species.
And itd be no good squealing out that "im a human you cant eat me", cos they can use you for whatever they see fit, theyre the tops.
So next time you tuck into your tasty bunny burger, or spout off about testing this new chemical on that creature over there to see what happens, just take a moment to think and put yourself in the victims place for a sec......
We might be smart, but we shouldnt arrogantly believe ourselves to have the right to do what we want to whatever creature just happens to get in our way.
One day, the shoe may just be on the other foot.

I got stopped in Cheltenham High Street a few years ago by a bunch of 'Against Animal Testing' type people who had set up a little display etc.

"Would you like to sign our petition against animal cruelty sir?", I was asked
"No thanks", I replied, "I'd rather sort out cruelty against humans first" (I remember the words as if they were yesterday - that is exactly what I said)
And without a moment's hestiation he lauched into what could only be described as a tirade of verbal abuse at me - shouting, swearing, the lot. I just walked off, smug in the knowledge that he'd just revealed his true colours to everyone.

That nice person that just stole your wallet/keyed your car/raped your daughter/rammed your car with a solen one and killed your family. Don't you think the "rabbit" should be let off the testing bench?
Against animal testing and happy to say it. Test it out on the toe rags who take the piss out of our justice system with no sympathy or compassion for the victim and as often as not no concience about what they do either.
Out on a limb here but don't care. Let them do the road repairs while we test on them if you like Carzee.

Grrr, watched this last night, pissed me off immensely.
Without prejudice my arse! The poor chap with the piercing and the dreads was probably going to do the most worthwhile things with the cash gets excluded on the basis of having piercings and dreads and the woman from Surrey got excluded because she appeared to be from Surrey.
As for the woman that won, well thats just bloody typical. Scum sticking together.
Matt.

Hang on hang on - she never suggested testing on prisoners as mandatory - she suggested that they be given a choice - long term jail or reduced if testing was allowed.
I believe it is a fair system i generally agree with what they say, the black woman who didn't win didn't win because of her dishonesty with the mobile phone.
The gay guy that `used` his wife for a child got through beyond her - work that out, she thought about nicking a phone for a second, he married a woman on false pretences to gain a child, had several gay affairs behind her back then got divorced and saw the child (his choice) on average once a month.
Neither deserved to win on that basis and as such be it best of a bad bunch or not that was the choice.
This weeks was also good - the ex model guy had more `issues` than the contestant and i wondered several times `who the hell are you to judge anyone!` the biggest annoyance was with the old guy who seemed to be one of the nicest people I have seen - the 21 year old black girl had serious ageism issues in my mind and i find that slightly hypocritical of someone who is coloured and as such should know better!
Her comment of "she will probably spend a lot of it on his grand kids" was typical - errrm and like errr "so?"
Isn't the point for them to win and enjoy the money? Surely if he spent 100% of it on his family if that means it makes him happy and changes his life by letting him do something he couldn't before then whats the problem?
I also noted she said "pensioners get about 12 grand a year which is a lot of money for someone not doing anything who owns their own house" !!!! FFS!!!!
Yeah like her the `student` who i suppose never ever moans about having enough money!
Still at least its entertaining - I for one find the judges more interesting than the contestants!
