Yes I had this done...so can comment on a few of the questions raised around this topic.

Price:

This old chestnut again... I guess we will never all agree on this and ones personal definition of value for money, but..

Marcos has invested a lot of time in getting the system right for this car. It's not some "Mickey Mouse" conversion kit. Each part has been specifically designed and engineered for the car. Marcos staff lives & breathe performance cars and designed the system to minimise component weight without compromising quality. My car was up and down the M40 for over a year so I can vouch on level of effort that went into these two designs. The internal door panel is totally changed with a high-tech light weight composite moulded to the original door shape which holds the motorised window mechanism. The switches are also custom made for the car and totally look the biz. For £1299 it's value for money, especially when you know what's behind your door is maybe only second to what Noble themselves could have done.

No, I'm not a millionaire . As Joust indicated the price is small relative to the cost of the car. I'm sure some of you more talented than myself, could tackle this type of project yourselves but I'm pretty confident you don't have the resources Marcos have to come up with such a professional result. Speaking for myself my car is worth more to me emotionally as well as financially to want the job done right!

The electric mirrors are an indulgence, but one well worth having if like me you have multiple people driving the car or have parking obstacles. The system replaces the standard mirrors with the motorised Rover version. Marcos then fit the whole thing using a custom built wiring loom system. This I'm told was really difficult to actually get right and involved an extensive number of man hours to design & fit.

Below is a direct quote from Marcos marketing material which may give you a bit more of feel what you get for your buck:

The original Noble window glass is maintained in the design so still does not go down 100%

Hey these extras won't be for everyone, but if like me you are frustrated by the lack of these basic elements, I can honestly say you can't find a slicker solution on the market.

Look I don't own a Marcos, work for Marcos, have any shares in Marcos or even sleep with anyone from Marcos ... But based on the excellent job they did for me, I stand by my recommendation.
