Front end respray

Advise pls.

just inspected a cerb, with a view to buy but it had some serious front end chipping . It was a metallic colour, could anybody advise cost of respraying this area,

Haven't had the job done myself (yet), but have been told that for a front end respray i.e bonnet, wings you are looking at between £850-£1100

Speak to Ian @ Middlewich. He has a fantastic guy who does his bodywork/respray.

He is doing my at the end of summer.

Cooper Green and slightly leggy I assume , about £1K for the front end I'm informed.

he is basically taking the p..s Unfortuneatly there is always a small element on these types of forums that like to have a pop at somebody they do not know, or will probably never meet. My genuine enquiries are based on me purchasing a Cerb in the very near future, although I would expect anybody who indulges on this type of negative thread to at least have the car in question himself, unless I am mistaken, having looked at his Profile. Having had a TVR for the last 5 years, I am looking forward to getting the "Ultimate" one. Will keep u posted, with pics , when I get her!

Chill guys I think HarryW is intimating he's seen the car or advert; the colour is cooper green and it's high mileage. I know he's after UPGRADING to a Cerb himself.

Whooooooooo yes the wrong end of the stick has certainly been grabbed here, the only point I was making was as Keith says below .

How could you possibily misread 'cooper green and leggy', for anything but a colour and high(ish) mileage . If you also noted in my original reply I put an estimate of £1K for the front end respray which was the key question asked in the first post, but you've ignored that . Apologies to sparticus if you felt it was your car I was referring to, twas not btw.
I'm not sure that it quiet warranted the triade from Ticker about 'negative elements' etc . May I humbly suggest if you feel that is the case at least bother to look at someones profile and posting history before going off on one.
