Final Fantasy 7

Was just reading about game to film adaptations in Pie and Piston and someone suggested Final Fanasy 7. Whilst i think its a little bit unrealistic to imagine a forty hour epic(!) I did wonder who else had played this much? It took over about 8 months of my life at one point. Did everything you could imagine in the game, got the gold chocobos and killed all the weapons, the whole thing. Hundreds of hours of gameplay! Anyone else fancy reminicing?

Twas me. 92 hours on the pc and then my hard drive kicked the bucket (aka, I fried it by pulling a molex whilst on ) I hadn't even got everything yet, although I was level 93

Cant remember my levels now, although i cant remember having really big trouble with the weapons, so must have been pretty good. The level of satisfaction when killing them was unbelieveable!

It was great, best FF game yet in my opinion and a re-make would be great. Although i'm no doubt pointing out the obvious, you do know that the FF7 movie Advent Children is out here tomorrow on DVD?

Indeed, i 'acquired' a copy of the jap version with subtitles. Pretty good, although if i watched it as a non final fantasy player I wouldn't have had a clue what was going on. Better than the dire film which had NOTHING to do with the games.

I pre-ordered my copy of FF-AC from Play.com, it came Saturday!

whats the movie like?
seen a couple of trailers and looks pretty close to the images of the game to be honest. almost tempted will be something for me on my own tho can't see gf putting up with watching it
