fuse rating

Want to install an in-line fuse to protect
the motor which will raise the rear spoiler i'm installing from a 964
from accidental damage
(although it is having a window toggle switch anyway)

what size fuse will it need to do this in amperage terms

There are a couple of ways you can establish this:-

1) You could check in a 964 handbook to see what the factory fuse was.

2) Use a multimeterin in line in place of the fuse as you operate the motor. Note the peak reading and add about 50% and that will give you your fuse rating.
