Its looking better for us than it did last week. Castle Race Engines ( Jamie and Trevor) seem to have got to the bottom of the ecu problems we were having. D-day for us is wednesday when the final entry has to go in but we're 60/40 on at the moment..

p.s.

Some of the cars are doing the CC special GT race as well so plenty of TVR Action

We're sorted (I think!). Engine and gearbox went back in over the weekend, seems to be running well and much quieter. The gasket on the left bank had a fairly big chunk blown out of it.

Thanks to APM Andy for changing the gaskets so quickly.

We're thinking of re-potting the bay trees for Combe - it has to be worth a couple of tenths....

what you need are Carbon Fibre pots for them... think of the weight saving

I think carbon kevlar will give the best compromise of weight and durability....

I'm just about ready, I've got a rolling road session booked for Wednesday morning, just to do a power run, no tweaking, i make certain i've cured the power issues I had. Remind me never to wire another car!

I've entered both the Tuscan race and the Special GT's to get an extra signature and more race time. I've been put in the same class as a Ferrari 355 and a Mazda RX-7. Hmmm however there are several class be cars that have been slower in the first two GT races there this season.

Regards
Iain

ETA...Has anyone got any spare awning space, the S I was going to share with still isnt ready...

If you look back to last year A few of the tuscan drivers were right up at the sharp end mixing it with the very quick radicals and beating them which was brill to see

That is right, but there are now some new cars lapping in 1.02's and our best on the current tyres is around the 1.09 mark. We will be left behind overall this year, although the Tuscans should win their class. It should still be good to watch
