Kit cars on LPG?

Anyone know if theres any implications in the SVA test if my kit ran on lpg?
is it possible to get custom tanks made?

Marlin have done it with a 5exi, I think it might be easyier to get Car through SVA and then convert, at least you could take the car to some of the companies who do conversions to discuss layout etc.

Some mates of mine have converted both their Jago's.

The later one runs purely on LPG with a proper ECU. Its a 1.8 cvh and now runs far better than Ford intended!

If you consider the GTM Libra its supposed to return 50mpg out its 1.8 K series variant (non-VVC). Thats a bit of an oversized engine for that size/weight of car. With the 1.4 K-series I'd expect it to be nearer 60mpg.

On LPG, that 60mpg would reduce to about 50-52mpg. Thats still a petrol equivalent of 115-125mpg
