Please please can anyone help me?

I have a 1986 944 Lux (oval dash) with the standard alloys which I'm looking to replace with either some later S2 90 style rims or even some 17'' cup alloys.

Can anyone tell me what size 17'' cup alloys will fit my car, or what size spacers I will need to fit. Or even any issues regarding stud pattern that I will need to watch out for!

Maybe some of you have already made this upgrade and can inform me what size your spacers/ rims are?

Thank you all SOM much!

James

I've got 17" Cup alloys on my 1988 Lux (2.5), I'll have a look at the alloys this evening and see what offsets they are - AFAIK everything alse is standard...

That would be great, thank you! However, I've a feeling that after 86 the wheel offset changed due to the introduction of ABS, which may mean your offset will be different.. Hmmmmmmmmm

Sorry about the late reply, totally forgot about it last night.

I know I've not got any spacers, as I've had the whole hubs etc in bits replacing all the brakes, so there's definately no spacers in there - unfortuneately there's no offset stamped onto the wheels:

However this website:

www.cantonia.com/wheel_offset.html

Shows it to be 23.3mm front and 10.6mm rear
