Bored of your 355's......

Fed-up of your 360's..........

Sick of all the Hype surrounding your 575..........

Alright, alright. I know the answers to the above questions are No, No and NO AGAIN!!!!!

You couldn't call yourself an enthusiast otherwise!!!

However, lets talk classics for a while. And in particular your favourite. I'll start the ball rolling:

Many years ago (as a young whipper-snapper) I lusted over a 1964 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso in Rosso Red. It was, and still is, a stunningly beautiful car

I wanted one then, and I still want one to this day - Bliss I wonder if we'll feel the same about the current crop of Ferraris in years to come - IMHO I think not!!!!

So come on, lets have em'
Cheers,
Jay.

P.S. Apologise for poor spelling. The correct spelling of Favorite is: FAVOURITE. Now repeat after me......

The venerable Pistonhead favourite, the delightful 288 GT0 and the original 50's Testarossa do it for me.

Never been a huge lover of them on the whole, but these two just excite something in me for some reason.

Matt.

Has to be the 288 GTO. Saw my first one (in the flesh) under wraps at Maranello's in Egham when I was 12 and have loved it ever since !

100% with you on that Daz-my favourite too. 288 GTO a very very close second.

BTW - Jay-Z, I haven't forgotten your request.....

Back onto the topic:
There are just soo many to choose from... Daytona/Boxer/both GTOS - I change my mind on this all the time...

At the moment and this is subject to change -probably the ultra rare 275 GTB/4 Competizione..in Giallo with Borrani wire wheels - saw one on TV too and it was just perfect - one of the best sounding cars of all time too..... awesome.

yes, everything that had its tyre on LeMans tarmac will do; first choice is 250LM, 250 SWB, then the 330P4, ...

For road cars, I'd go for a Daytona first, or a 400 Superamerica

It has to be the 250GTO, but since I'm not a millionaire the closest I get is dribbling when I see Nick Mason give his some beans at Goodwood.

I like most of the front engined Ferraris. 250GTO should be everyones favourite though. I also like the 246 Dino, most of the other 'wedge' Ferraris don't do it for me.

Remember seeing one of these on TV a few years back - some festival at Brands. In car with Alain DeCadenet... mmm

Has to 62' 250GTO short nose; not forgetting 250GT SWB, 250GT Lusso, Daytona, 288GTO, 275GTB/4, Dino, etc, etc...

It has to be the 246 Dino for me but, since i can't afford one, i've just picked up a 308 GT4 Dino instead. At least i got the Dino bit anyway!

Some lovely examples in there chaps. Particularly like the picture of the 250GT Spyder posted by Frostie

If only we had the money hey!!!

Do any of you think we'll be getting this excited about a 355/360 in say 20/30 years time?
Cheers,
Jay.

Various ones on different days, but:

250GTO (Nick Mason's car)
275GTB/4
365GTB/4 (Daytona)
365BB
246GTB or S

From later models, only the 288GTO although the 550 looks good as well.
