Well as some of you know our car was keyed recently. Well last night somekind person decided to releive us off both chrome mirror covers when it was parked outside our house. As they only fit mini's (i think) its a shame because I guess a fellow mini owner nabbed them!

But its so annoying. Anyone else had this?

Not had the same but could have just been the same people who scratched the car, check local hedgerows in case they discarded them or even ebay.

Sorry to hear about it all.

Well its the 3rd thing thats happended to the car. I think other cars in the area have been keyed (its london afteral).

So to date its beee:

Aerial = £10
Keying = £600 (to ensure 12 year corrosion warranty)
Mirrors = £70

Not much shy of £700 of stuff happen to the car, its so depressing!

Are you parked on the road or on a drive?

Maybe consider some form of cctv security light? Alternativly buy a crossbow and sit up all night, illegal but my preffered option

On the road. I was wondering about training a CCTV on the car, not sure thats legal but may be the police would be interested.

Get a pair of cheap ones and cover them in ink, might make the bastards think twice!!!! Or put ink hand prints all over your car one or the other

Is there no way of securing them? I know it sounds crazy (and I'm sure I'll get cussed for this), but even supergluing them in place? £77 every few days is going to get expensive!

Bear traps.

Then torture the thieving bastards with a pair of pliers... and a blow torch.
