Parcel shelf

Iam in the middle of fitting a sub into the space where the helmet holder is and wanting to trim the parcel shelf and bits of the door cards, does the parcel shelf come off and how would one go about doing it?? same for the door cards?

Ive not taken the parcel shelf one off yet but will be soon to retrim it, but the door cards come off via about 5 allen key bolts holding the door card on. The actual trims are held in via allen key bolts too which have a load of black glue holding them in.

Parcel shelf is a pig to get out.

2 wing nuts/nuts on teh rear of the seats (reach through the helmet holder space once removed)

Remove Headrests.

You then need to push back and up on the tabs that the wing nuts were holding down. Take great car not to break them.

the rear parcel shelf is removed by firstly removing the egg(helmet holder)this can be removed by undoing the wing nut which is located in the boot behind the carpet flap where the electrical boxes are stored.remove the egg from inside the car.then on the bat wing(rear parcel shelf there will be four wing nuts or four m6 nuts(2 onto the right hand seat back and 2 onto the left hand seat back)remove these and then the bat wing(rear parcel shelf)can be removed. refitting is simply the reverse.

And be careful not to catch the leather on the seat with the threaded bar when removing and replacing, it is easily done...

Forgot to say unbolt the tops of the seatbelts as well.
