Just out of interest;

If TVR go bust will my Tamora be worth more or less?

Will my warranty (yes I'm a bit obsessed with warranties) still be valid?

It will be worth less.

But I would like to think someone will pick up the pieces if TVR go under.

I hope TVR don't go bust. Lets face it they should sort out the reliablity problems once and for all, especially with the speed 6 engine.
I think they will probably downsize for a while, maybe even move to new premesis. Lets face it Morgans are still alive, and they are a small company.

I think the reliability is a real issue with TVR. Its a real shame because it spoils the fact that TVR cars are a real joy to own and drive :-)

If TVR went under, I agree that the values would go down, especially the S6 cars, due to the fact that very few decent garages can service the thing, however, I don't believe TVR will disappear, I am hoping that after this debacle, TVR will emerge stronger, and you never know, they may offer cut price engine part upgrades, as a good will gesture, or am I in the realms of fantasy!!

It says on piston heads that they will be moving to new premesis within the region in the next six months, and outsourcing parts of the production.

Keep fingers crossed that they stay alive and don't go under.

If Rover/MG are anything to go by, then your car would go down in value quite quickly.

But on the plus side, I suppose you could argue that MG/Rover is a totally different market and TVR do not have shedloads of new cars lying around waiting to be sold off at half price..

It's only a guess, but I suggest they will lose value but not on anything like the same scale as MG.

On the other hand there must be a lot more people who now know what a TVR is.

That should stimulate some interest and may even lead to increased sales.

Who knows - maybe this is a crafty publicity stunt by moley and all those skilled workers will be reinstated when orders pick up.

If I can't get my Tusc 2 in a few years I'm going to be very sad.
