Seen a few C5s with rear spoilers - are these generally aftermarket add ons or Corvette options?

I know the look will be subjective, but has anyone got any comments on do's and dont's if I opt to go that route?

They're all aftermarket add-ons.

It is, of course, a matter of personal taste but aftermarket spoiler do have an unfortunate image problem, especially when they serve no function. For example, you see Rover 45's with Touring Car spoilers angled to generate 2000lbs of downforce and which look stupid. There have been several Vettes where silence has been the best observation. Just bear in mind that most don't do anything and simply block yopur rearward vision.

I have a 2005 Mustang and in line with more and more people in the US, all I want to do is get rid of it. It's a useless piece of plastic.

Get the Ecklers catalogue - they're all in there. None of them do it for me. Better to spend my cash on a supercharger than plastic add-ons

I got mine from LGMotorsports in Wylie Texas but used bespoke mounts that are bolted directly to the chassis so it won't fall off at speed!

I think a company called ACI Vette or something like that make a fibreglass/composite range of rear wings for the C5.
