Classic car insurance.

I have been told by a reliable source that I can put a Griff on a classic car policy (don't care about loss in ncb), so does anyone have any recommendations of good online companies that I can get some quotes off and aren't going to charge me an arm and a leg for the privilege?

Looked at the site, but I need to own the car before they consider giving me a quote. Or can you just email them and say you are considering buying one??

Incidentally, do you mind me asking how much your quote was and if it had any rules on it?? Im only looking for a 6k per annum (sp) plus parked on the street quote.

I have full no claims - 96 griff 500 - age 32 - Parked on the drive - 5k limited miles and the quote was just over £500 about £504 which seemed pretty good. What quotes have you had??

Lig, I just got a superb quote from "A PLAN" and have renewed with them at sub £500. I'm 30, full NCB, clean licience etc etc etc. Very helpfull people. Check profile for car details!

I pay about 650 with Peart, but lots of people say A-Plan is good (Will try them come renewal). I couldn't get the griff on a 'classic' policy as I don't have a garage.

I found RH Specialists cheaper than anyone including A Plan recently - they were aound £150 cheaper per annum than most other quotes I had.

I was with Classicline for my S3 and the renewal was £390 this year so I contacted RH and got the same cover at £252 however I told my workmate who has a Griff 500 about them but when he got quotes from both Classicline were cheaper for him.
