Furtherto my previous post about tyres prices I've been quoted £400 to supply 4 18" tyres for my wifes car.
Has anyone any views on these tyres are they any good etc. At over half the price of anyone else I'm giving them serious thought.
I've got a set of Hans on one of my Audis' and they do a fine job.

I got 17'' Toyo Proxes for £78 from www.mytyres.net - and they're well sticky
It's far from perfect, but take a look at www.tyres-online.co.uk/ and click on "Tyre Test Reviews" on the left hand side menu bar...
My tuppence guys and gals.
Got 2 sets (freebies) for my GT2, the summer tyres are 'kin awful, the winter tyres are good, not quite Michelins but good.
Remember the car they were on though, the summers were used on the track (to speak newenglish WellHot and WellScrubbed!) 35°C airtemp 42°C tracktemp and a VERY fast slalom.. grip was well down on Pirelli P6000 and my normal Mich's. especially when they got really warm, they just bobbled off, too soft for hard RWD and tend to accent understeer as the walls seem "floppy"
The winters were used on powder snow at -10 to -15°C and had good grip, although I'd have liked more profile for the looser stuff. A bit noisy on the autobahn and on dry roads, NOT a general use winter tyre, more for the high north (N,S,SF)
Just my tuppence hope it helps.... John
