Just had the S2000 in at Chips Away in Reading to fix some dents on the hardtop and bumper damage (prior to selling ).

They've done a faultless job - for a fair charge. Happy to reccomend them

Can they do stone chips?

Did they do any on yours and what are the costs like?

I have mixed feeling on chips away but I think it depends how good the individual is.

Thanks for the recommendation - I've been looking for a dent repairer for a while now.

Is this the guy who has premises so you can come to him if you wish?

Didn't have any chips done, but I guess the clue is in the name

Agreed - and the manager also agreed the very same point with us. He was professional, kept to the quote and he even had to mix our colour up a bit (Honda Nurburgring Blue) but it matched perfectly.

They have premises on Acre Road (opposite B&Q/Madjeski) - www.chipsawayreading.co.uk

We had to wait around 2 weeks for a spare slot though - everyone is having their repairs done in time to sell for summer!

Isn't it owned/managed by Reading Council? How are they as landlords?

Didn't get photos - we had 2 dents in the hard top roof (difficult to fix apparently) and bumper paint missing after scuffs while parking.

They are in a small trading estate opposite Arnold Laver on Acre Road (it's the road off the A33, opposite B&Q/Comet/KFC/Maccy D's).

I went there to get him to look at a couple of chips on my 911, and he was honest enough to say that he couldn't be sure to improve them a lot.

I respect that, at least I know I am in for a front end respray one day.

Had a nice Aston being done while I was there.
