Anyone know this bargain?
Discussion
Came across this 2003 red T350C (FD03 ZKS) whilst starting my search for a T350T. Not my model or colour, but could be a bargain for someone - on at £19,995.
Havent phoned the dealer to see if its still available though.
Cheers,
Michael

It certainly looks cheap (on the face of it), and you're right to ask on here too. I would make very deep enquiries about this car, if you're interested, including a HPI check.
I note that it has done over 20K miles, you need to know if it's had any engine mods/rebuilds and new clutch yet, if not, it 'may' need one within the next 5-8K miles, plus clutch. You need to factor in these costs to be safe before committing to buying.
There is no such thing as a cheap S6 TVR, it may be that cheap because it does need attention, which could cost around £6K.
If you can’t find anything about its history, I would be very cautious, as £20K is still a lot of your money, and if that’s all the budget you have, you may get into trouble with it very quickly.
However, it may be that the garage want to shift it, and its fine!

I think in light of recent news ALL tvr prices are going to take a hit for a few months, particularly thoose tied to the factory for engine parts, ie ajp v8, s6.. Not a nice thought,
Which, I suppose is GOOd news if you are buying, of course so it depends on your perspective..
Wait a few weeks and see how it all pans out,, imho better communication from TVR on future plans/prosepect is essential to support both used and new markets.
THat need to happen now, a GOOd motor show with something intertesing would help (but to late if just that, left to then)

But its at a dealer ??? so i imagine it will come with some form of warantee
I know, but I always feel it's best to look at and factor in the worst case scenario, and if you feel comfortable with that, you should be OK.

hasn't this car been around before? if its the one im thinking of its been shifted around a bit and possibly not cared for in the best way.
i could be talking rubbish though![]()
mike.
Saying things like this without checking facts could really piss-off the seller and irreversibly affect the sale! Don't do it!

i was thinking on the same lines as targarama.
mike.
No dont think you were talking rubbish, seems this has been around before in this thread.
As I said, havent given the dealer a call, so might not even still be avaiable. Sounds as though it needed a few K spending on it - dont get 'owt for nowt!
Cheers,
Michael

Mind you, a non-TVR dealer will probably want to get rid of this car soonly. A low offer might get you into the driving seat ![]()
Red is the fastest colour BTW.
Whats your Maroon one then Trefor. I thought yours ran on steam
Red Glow Pearlescent if you don't mind. Yes, hope you like my new numberplate obscuring feature - handy for Tallivans and Gatsos.
