Had a fantastic day yesterday on a full day ride drive course which included just over an hour on the runway at Kemble airfield near Cirencester.
I`ve only had my 500 griff for 11 days and it was a fantastic experience, take my hat off to my instructor, Alan Steele, top man, putting the car and myself through its paces and finding out just how far you can go before loosing it, and just how many times it will do a 360 on you if you give it too much welly, was fantastic. A few people who worked at the airfield came out during their lunch break to have a laugh at me, but admire the sound of the griff roaring and the tyres screetching.
My confidence in my ability to drive the car has now increased tenfold, knowing how far to take it, and just how much awesome power there is on tap.
the only downside that brings you down to earth, is checking your car over the following evening to find that the lack of rubber on your tyres, and the abundance of it in small particles all over your interior leather.
A fantastic day, well worth the investment in the driver, highly recomended
