I am thinking of selling my 911 that has been modified for track work but am having difficulty putting a price to it.Here is a brief spec, any suggestions welcome;1973 2.7Lux 911,1989 3.2 Carrera motor,Camtune rebuilt 915 gearbox(3000mls ago)Bilstein turbo suspension,16" Fuchs with brand new Toyos,964 alloy front callipers and 3.2 rears, roll cage, plumbed in extinguisher, new air flow meter,Corbeu bucket seats,4 point harnesses. The car is Guards red with SC arches and a whale tail. The only rust is at each corner on the bottom of the front windscreen otherwise it is in good order. The reason I am selling is that my daughter is getting married next year and she has expensive tastes!I built the car over a period of 4 years and have spent in excess of 12.5K on her but I know I will get nothing like that back for her. Thanks for looking,Wayne.

Hi Wayne there have been a couple of similar ones around over the last few months the to that I can think of were :

Blue 911t (ex porsche race car) with 3.0 engine, 3.0 rs body kit, full cage, properly set up, plumbed fire equipment. This was for sale for a while in both he porsche owners club magazine and on here from meemory. Not sure if it sold but it was about £12,000 from memory

The second was similar spec with half cage in black but with an rs body kit and was about £11,000 not sure if that sold ?

The third was a white one 1976 so impact bumper model with all the other bits and bobs with an 1990's rs body kit for about £9,000

So without seeing and knowing the condition it could be similar people seem to want rs body kits on these and cages.

Hope that might give you a very rough idea they were both quite together cars and ready to race or track.

Is yours the impact bumper model ?

Can you post any pictures ?

All the above imho !!
