Hi Guys, got a couple of questions need to get answered if you can ? first one like headhoons about gauges but didnt want to hijack his thread, i got a 2006 Chevrolet Lumina SS Coupe [Monaro CV8] here in saudi arabia and want to get clocks sorted into MPH for shipping home to uk eventually, whats the best way ? been on to monkfish and they can supply a converter for km/h to mph but want to change my sad lookin grey gauges to something with a bit more colour ! anybody know where i can get overlays for these ? or a good screen printer who can come recommended and has made some up before ?
Also anyone interested in a 2nd hand vz monaro [not vxr front] chevy grill off my 2700kms motor and the badges ? mine now a full holden [was made there] also anyone interested in any new chevy/lumina/SS badges then can supply from here at basic cost plus postage ? will get all prices if interest shown !

The gauges you might be able to take a photo and send it to Speedhut, they probably have done ones for them already. Seeming it would be the same as the GTO (bit of an assumption). Think the address is www.speedhut.com
What I did with mine was just put one of the speed hut gauges on. Anyhow, going to investigate what is required to make a vinyl one up, and put my own designs on, as always liked to have one that glowed brilliantly white. Could turn out to be a work of art really. Liked the new commodores, the needle was a brilliant red colour.

Lumina SS is mechanically identical to Caprice with V8. Versions for the M-E market can be found on gmarabia.com

Hi Guys, will post some pics once i've got them uploaded and sussed out how to do it ! Paul H yeah they sell V6 and V8 lumina and caprice SS versions friend got a caprice ss ltz and a few lumina ss's around in fact hundreds ! not so many of the ss coupe's but at least 5 of us here in Dhahran have them now from 03 model year to a few 06's but only available with the 5.7 LS1 motor unfortunately or i would have got the LS2 beastie ! lots of aussies so gettin bits for the motoer no problem and been dealin with JHP in oz Geoff there has been really helpful and patient !just tryin to sort dash with importing 2nd hand gto cluster from ststes but as usual they wont accept foreign cc's ? no wonder the world hates them ! lol !
