Can anyone offer any help/info regarding this post in the "Scottish" section:

"David Gray at Lakefield Classics could do with help from the TVR detectives. He was at Doune with what looks like a very original 420SEAC wedge, but the scrutineers are giving him a hard time on the rear boot spoiler and demanding to see homoligation papers(!)at Knockhill. I know David is trying to compile as much info as possible to prove that the cars left the factory like that - if there are records /photographs of the 420 SEAC racing complete with the boot spoiler, David would be pleased to get copies, I am sure."

I have no connection with the car/driver. I spotted the post in the Scottish section and thought there was more chance of him getting useful info if I posted something on the Wedge forum.

Pretty sure Steve does not use a spoiler. (well the photos i've just looked at doesn't).
There are plenty of original factory sales brochures showing the spoiler if that's a help.

He should contact Chris Shirle at DG Motorsport - he was the developer of the SEAC a TVR.

You should be able to find DG in yell.com or let me know and I'll give you the number (no email allowed thru your profile).
