Steaming Tuscan
Discussion
Well - finally, with the help of two different rescue services and 2 other cars managed to jump start the beast. The flat battery was caused by the car being stood for about 2 months (unavoidable) on carrying out a few checks before driving - oil, brake fluid, water I noticed that the coolant level looked very low so added some and started the car again. On re-starting the car managed a passable impression of a kettle and a warning indication of water temp 116 degrees but neither fan started.
What should the coolant level be?
Is it possible I've blown a fuse in the process of jumping the car, if so where the fuse panel?
Any ideas?
HELP!!!

Many thanks to Graham - Tuscan now nearly up and running. Still overheating but believe this is a problem with the fan relays. Should be fixed tomorrow.
The car has, for a change, made me smile when started after being stood. The last time I had a flat battery the POD constantly displayed an EFI fault which I could not cancel. However after being jumped today the fault has cancelled itself and I can now use my LCD panel again! Now that's what I call quality engineering! Is it possible that in connecting the jump lead socket I've nudged somthing and cancelled an earth?
