old whois data

Does anyone have any ideas how to get the old whois data for a domain name?

(whois.sc doesn't have it).

Essentially, the domain was re-registered as new in Feb, but i need to find out the old name servers of the domain, or where the old ip for www was pointing up until Feb 2006.

Its not really a service many people offer.

You could try the Registrar for the domain, I know with ours, a Whois 'snapshot' is taken when a domain transfer is requsted so I can see the 'whois prior to transfer'

Past that, old web cache's maybe.
