Just pulled out of work for a slight detour home in the Elise, and thought I saw something a bit unusual coming towards me in a stream of traffic- a Ferrari 250 GT SWB! It was following a red Jag XK8 or XKR.

It was blue with a white band around the nose (from front wheelarch to wheelarch), white number boards, big fat Borrani wires and a very healthy sounding exhaust note.

I've never seen a replica of a SWB- if it was one it was a very realistic looking and sounding one- sounded just like the one's at Goodwood.

Not the kind of thing you see every day!

Is that 2735GT - the car Sir Stirling Moss drove it Rob Walker to win the 1961 Tourist Trophy at Goodwood? Reg No is something like 1 SWB.

Saw it on the Mundford to Brandon road- on the Norfolk/Suffolk boarder- heading into Brandon. It was just after 5 o'clock last night.
