also the turbo operation can be changed from sequential to true twin at the flick of a switch, the later makes the car sound fantastic.

Is that a load of bull? If not, how does it work?

sorry guys, ok in pretty simple terms it's down to exhaust gas flow. In true twin both turbo's see the exhaust gas all the time, where as in stock mode its only #1 that see's the gasses until a certain point when it also introduces gasses to # 2. This is controlled by soleneoids ( VSV's).

If it was a different colour I think it would be a decent Supra, I like the rear spoiler. I would not be arsed about the ice install though, not really doesn’t interest me. Suppose you could sell the install and part fund a re-spray?

It's a fecking awful colour/kit/interior, but what's the beef with the auto-box?

Just dont think slushmatics are conducive to a sporting drive - quite apart from the fact they reduce performance you lose out on the enjoyment of changing gear. I honestly cant think of *any* car I'd describe as sporty that has a 'normal' torque converter autobox...... (obviously Ferrari F1, BMW SMG etc are not what I'm referring to)

Kawasaki Green and Super Advans, how could it be better??

The only way that could be better (excluding more power obviously ) would be to remove the stereo, and "carbon" interior stuff, as its just maxy p chav tat.

I really like that

The car that is, not the chav tat

far to loud for me, but seemed like a lot of motor for the money?
p.s. IMHO, smg boxes are shite! i worked for mercs, and they were foever going up the wall (electrics). i have driven 2 good examples of me evos with smg, there were absolute crap, banging on the way up and down, and pretty poor in trafic too. i am a beliver in manual or auto! havent driven a aston or ferrari with it though, so if anyone has one and wants to show me the error of my ways, feel free!!lol

Exactly: DB9 is emphatically a GT/Tourer with the (very good) autobox which changes gear very quickly and even h+t on the way down(!).... still not 'sporting' though; thats the AMV8's raison d 'etre. Seems to me its really a matter of personal taste, and for me a torque converter auto will always rob a car of ultimate sporting response...

It depends on what sort of sport you want to do though. Most of the really fast street/drag cars in the US are autos.

I do agree with you though, I don't really like Autos, as I feel they take something away from the driving experience
