Mojo,
this is often a problem : my Dax Rush does this on oil pressure and water temperature gauges, but none of the others..... and my brothers TVR does similar. Garaging your car and not using it regularly allows atmospheric moisture into the gauges and when motor starts to heat up and/or gauge lights come on this creates mist on the inside of the glass.
Can be improved by sealing back of the guages (where wires attach / dip switch block / any other holes visible, with silicone sealant to avoid moisture getting in. Beware sealing them needs to be done once gauges are dried out fully / warm (use a hair drier) so as not to trap moisture inside the gauge (which just makes the problem worse).
On my car it soon clears, but my garage is well ventilated and I never put the hood on it when garaged.
Hope that helps
Mark

Hmmmm bugger, just nailed inst binnacle back onto dash as a "job to be done" (does the list ever stop growing??) prior to re mot. Almost certain it won't pass if you can't see the speedo(!) will try the hair drier this weekend, though the guages seem pretty well sealed to start with.
