Sat in traffic yesterday when I saw a private plated (BID **) Bright red Cayman with colour coded (bright red inserts in the wheels). Maybe an attempt at a bit of Max Power but the driver looked a bit old for that !

Not that I hate the Cayman's looks but looked terrible (the wheels that is), is this just me being picky or do I actually have taste ? My next car which I WILL have is 996 GT2 so what does that say about me ?

Is he a PHer ? If so change the wheels !

And yes, I do have a 911 C2 with Gt3 kit and wheels before the TASTE thing becomes an issue !

And please fellow Porsche owners of whichever marque please flash (if possible) other owners, 964 owners have yet to flash me back, 993 owners also. Come on guys do the right thing !

Have a good bank holiday (driving weekend)

Everyone has different tastes. If we were all the same the world would be boring. Plus cars decked out in bad taste will make your car look even better

I think the Cayman, untouched, is a good looking thing.

I can see how max-powering it would be bad.

Saw that Gayman in Cheltenham parked up on Easter Sat.Yuk! with those red wheels. It was an automatic as well. Think generally they look good though. There was also a new M6 in a funny dark metallicy browny colour.Just like a Cortina from the late 70's. Is it just me or does anybody else think p-plates are naf?

that's only allowed on 977TT as quicker !

Cayman is ok in good colour but interested to see if anyone has gone 911 to Cayman/Coxster. Sorry couldn't resist, it's the Clarkson in me ! & no nervous not really ! before you make any joke about man love or anything similar

Saw a Red Cayman with the red wheels in an OPC a few weeks back.
Wrong location (london)but could it be the same one? Anyway I thought it made it look cheap.

In the right colour, colour-coded wheels look great. Unfortunately, red is not the right colour.

You never know, obviously more money than taste, knowledge, etc, could be the very same as can't see how 2 Cayman's with the same terrible wheels would be allowed out on the road.

looked like something you might drive on NFSMS on the playstation ! ok in a game but not reality !

I saw that one too on the same day - Montpellier area IIRC. I remember pointing it out to the missus was less then complimentary. Each to their own though

It is a Bank Holiday after all and I need my fun !

Nervous has gone all quiet ? Is he ok ? Has he bought a bloody GT3 yet ?

Not sure - I'd have to see it, and apparently not.

Bit off topic, but you know, I've only ever seen one Cayman in the flesh.
