Paint protection film......Venture Shield

I recently had a local company install a paint protection film called Venture Shield on my GTR. I had most of the front facing surfaces covered including the front lower bodywork, mirrors, headlight covers and I even had the inside wheel wells covered as well. There was no "form" for the GTR (big surprise) so he made one from my car. I told him to keep a template in case someone else would like their car done. The film is barely visible once installed and the car can be washed and waxed like any other vehicle. Anyone who is coming to our USA Gathering in September can see the installation in person. I have found the most vunerable part is the lower 6 inches in front of rear tyres. Mine is covered in small chips.

I applied that myself to the bottoms of my side pods, still looking good after 4 years.

Is that stuff simalar to the clear m3 film. My car finally goes to the painter in June, might be interested in it after that.

3M is similar but the warranties only go to about 3 years max whereas the VentureShield one covers you for LIFETIME!!!
