seeing about the posts on the pickup, anyone know if Porsche are planning a 4 door saloon, I may like a 4 door saloon one day but not really keen on the Cayenne (sp) as its a Jeep type.

But a well handling Porsche 4 door car.

ps I had an M5 and had soooo many bad experiences, I would never own a BMW again. but a Porsche M5 would be good. Audi RS6 type of thingy or E55 AMG

Any ideas if one is in the pipeline.

They tried making a 4 door 911 once, as the rear engine allowed good packaging (ie rear passengers over each bank of engine). Never progressed, though. Not sure if they are planning a saloon - may be too mass market for them. They probably think the Cayenne will do the job.

William Dick Jnr in Cal built a four door 911 in 1967. 21" longer with suicide doors at the rear.

There is talk of using the lump out of the "K-N" in a new GT car to rival the 575 / Vanquish at the upper end of the market, but from what i have read this is close but has not been signed off as yet..

911 & Pork World had a news story a couple of months ago (maybe more) of plans for a saloon. Would rival the M3 I think.

A lot of these "plans" do get shelved however.

IIRC this is more than talk, I think its going to happen. A sort of 928 revival, to look like that GT coming out. It'll cost the earth though ...

Superlightr.

I don't suppose there is a gif of a jet dropping bombs. May prove useful on some of the more emotional threads on general gassing.
