A while ago a thread was raised about replacement seat belt stalks, quite a few people noted that the existing stalks dig into the rib area. Try a peugeot 306, thet are shorter and lock the belt nicely, gonna fit them to my car right now and get back with the result.

Sorry, got carried away with cleaning and polishing. Yeah they fit a treat, had to put a slight bend in the steel arm to give clearance from the gearbox tunnel, not to short either but they are now away from the rib area. In fact they protrude just above the seat cushion, a good result.

Sorry, I didn't realise how soon after you posted had I asked the question; me, I would have still been looking for the right size spanner....
I'll look out for some P306 bits, then!

OK, so it took me two weeks to get around to it, but you're right P306 stalks work really well!
