No, no: it's not verboten at all; I was just irritated by a word, when I read your post, but I couldn't find it because it was so familiar to me, and I understood everything. I eventually discovered your wordplay by re-reading the post three times!

It's exactly the right alternation in a grammatical sense for that context.
The direct translation would be verlümmelt which isn't existant - until now, because I added it to my thesaurus to confuse my German-speaking fellas!

M3 EVO took the thread off post by asking about Adrian Flux insurance. M3 DAYTONA (A new poster) directed his comment to M3 EVO to try elephant. Therefore my earlier comment still stands, bit sharp tonight then Joust!!

Ah, wait, I think I see where your post confused me. Were you saying that Brighton Pier ist verbuggert? In which case, correct, but only partially. There are two piers, and the west one is definitely a bit shagged out, but the other one is just fine.

However, fishing off the remaining pier, if I recall, ist verboten.

Now, I understand! I thought there was only one pier at Brighton, and I saw the pictures of a verbuggered one on a news page, and concluded everything Brighton Pier is -well- verbuggered.
