Beep, Beep (but no RoadRunner)?!

Ok, I know there's a warning alarm for the lights-on and also for when you do not remove the radio/CD head cover after switching off the engine BUT earlier I kept hearing a two-tone beep coming from the area around the radio and it kept on even WHEN I REMOVED THE FRONT COVER!!!

I've never heard it before - any ideas?

PROBLEM SOLVED...

Confucious say - he who who forgets walkie-talkie switched on behind seat of Noble will be driven mad by battery-low warning beep and will look everywhere else for problem first!!!
