Bellhousing to engine bolt sizes (trackcar?)

Hello everyone

Another question I'm afraid.

Can anyone tell me what size the bolts are that bolt the bellhousing to the engine on the late type.

I have upgraded to the new type and the old type bolts are far too long.

Can't help out on the lenght but when I had a slave cylinder changed one of the bolts to the bell housing although tight was standing proud. I was told that the holes are not all the same depth and some of the bolts are shorter becasue of this. Don't know if this is the case for you but may be worth a thought.

65mm I think, I've got a bloody big bag of em here somewhere from the same job!

If using the old type bellhousing you'll have to chamfer the boltheads a bit to avoid them fouling.

You need to use allen-head bolts and make the heads a bit conical.

I found a mixture of 45mm and 40mm M10 Cap screws worked a treat with the new style bellhousing.
