Whats the general view - stripes on a noble ?

Just contemplation having some white ones added to my black M12 for the trip to Le Mans. I can't decide whether I like them or whether they are a bit chav like.

Chav? Never on a Noble.

If you want them go for it.

Personally, I think on a Noble they look great.

DanH had them on his and I liked them.

Anyway, it's your machine, who cares what others think. You are behind the wheel and if you feel good, go for it.

IMHO

ps, go on, you know you want to

I think they look great and am actually considering it myself!

I think on a black car the stripes should be silver to match the wheels etc.

Try it in Photoshop.

Greg

I would look at a light blue for my azure car although white would prob be best.

Not wishing to hijack the thread, but noticed the rear wing has been laquered.

I've heard mixed opinions on whether it can be done successfully..

Any tips please??

That is how the wing was supplied before they had problems with the lacquer and just decided to paint them all

Or by special request! (presumably if you first agree to not complain about the lacquer*!)

* lacquer on mine was fine, but some reported cloudiness, perhaps related to exposure to the elements.

I do the old trick of using oil on the wing, which brings it up nice for a month or so.

I think the double stripe looks better .
Dan , I have seen some 10cm wide is that about right ?
I might go the whole hog and get it really sored with race numbers and sponsors. Just need to get a few clients to chip in to have their names on it.
I feel a plan coming on.

HOW MUCH WAS THAT ROUSH EXHAUST AGAIN ?

Go for it mate.
With all that exotica you wouldn't want to be missed.

Chrome / white
White / chrome

Oh why did you mention that I was almost ready to decide

What about red to match the seats?
I don't have photoshop anyone assist with a mock up ?

PS Greg
We should be leaving Zeebrugge about half eight and travelling to Le Mans via the coast . If there is a blacky / gray blur that passes you its me not Ash ! ( subject to getting new turbo's and exhaust )

Greg...while you're at it knock up one with black stripes over turquoise I'm sure it'd look good with the black wheels, spoiler and interior on mine.
Nearly got the rear window and the two small side windows blacked out this week. Still thinking about it...100 Euros...is that dear/cheap/normal?

I really can't remember how wide they are. The current owner of my car posts here sometimes so perhaps you can track him down and ask. Alternatively, Plans organised the fitting of the decals etc. Pretty good job - apparently the guy does the Mclaren F1 cars too. I'd make sure you clean your car thorougly before getting it done though, as I had a few bits of dirt stuck under mine.

Dan, have you got a piccy of your car that I can PS to change the colours please. Pref a shot in good sunlight.

Also, how can you say they did a good job if they left dirt under the stickers!!??

Surely thats an unacceptable text book error.

Can you easily remove them?

100 Euros sounds very cheap, might make the inside a bit dark though!

Worty,
I think they made Dan's car stunning. They also had the effect of breaking the image of the car so that it was a "what is that?" moment everytime you saw it even though you knew it was a Noble. Gawp factor +.
