What colour should I do my wheels?

I've got some spare 996 17" alloys that I am going to put on the RS with the Pirelli asym/direc tyres that I have for 'wetter' track days - I have MPCS and Dunlop SSR's for dry days.

Having seen this post about refurb close to me at £40 a wheel I'm thinking of getting them done in a colour...

Initial thoughts were either black or blue (to match harness belts and interior) but might go for something a bit more wild like red or orange or ??????

Im just off jnc 22 of the m1.

I would go gloss black (as you know), I saw a midnight blue 964 rs with gloss black mags at the recent autojumble, thats what made my mind up. If it was just for the track though bright orange might be cool.

Cheers David - might just do that - I'm in Quorn a few times over the next 2 weeks.

These wheels are will just be my track spares so leaving alloy colour is not really an option....a bit boring.


I quite like the idea of gold that has been suggested....and orange, and white, and black....decisions, decisions....
