Anyone else come away from Pistonfest with a face like baboons backside ?

May have just been me because I spent so long on the pitwall.

Not sure that is entirely down to exposure to sun...
Did he get back ok this morning - it was thoroughly miserable when he set off...

Yeah, he got back about midday, said it stopped raining in cambridge, so he wasn't too wet when he got home

Mrs BG just told me I had caught the sun, all I can remember is the freezing cold, the biting wind, huddled around disposable BBQ's to warm my toes, and the rain.

How the hell did I get a suntan?

Wind burn?!

Some of us had it too, even though we spent most of the weekend indoors. Nervy had been on the Guiness.

No, there really was a few hours of hot sun on the Sunday afternoon in between the clouds which caught most people unawares.
I mean, when you're only just thawing out after almost freezing to death in the night it never occurs to put on sunscreen.

My face was really sore too. It was windburn, rather than sunburn though. Either that or I'll be getting a refund on that face cream I use.

Funny that, I got sunburn although I was nowhere near PF.

Must have been the 1500 foot Cumbrian Fells I was stood on putting me closer to the sun
