Being from Ketrin we went down the A14 then Fosse way , OK but lots of traffic took about 1hr 20mins , came back via Banbury /Silverstone/ N`ton . Riverside was about 55mins from Ettington , so not alot different from home.
David and I are car park attednants for the day so we need to be there early but 8.30 from Riverside is OK I think if thats not too soon for others.
So , any volunteers to help parking up the cars by model on the day ?

i'll give you a hand on the saturday ,
so it looks like riverside 8:30 meeting time we have just got to decide on a route now

Any others for an early start from riverside, anybody want to join us on the way ?

Dale, as per our mail, I could attach myself to the rear of the convoy around Daventry area. If you don't go past Daventry, will catch up at some other point en route.
As regards the route onwards, personally I would recommend avoid Fosse Way as it is a boring straight. Instead you can catch B4451 from Southam down to Gaydon and then hop across to Fosse or take some lanes. I take the B4451 quite often and it has some nice undulating bends, though with a couple of speed limits through villages.

Leave Riversde about 8.30 am A45
Daventry (pickup JW ) 8.45 ish
I am happy to go with the sujestion of B4451 at Southam over M40 at Gaydon (9.15 ish)
Intersect the A422 somewere depending on not getting lost and cross the B4455
The venue is about half a mile over the crossroads . ETA 9.45 ish
