ive done some sprinting in the past but this was very different.
you give the tires a good burn up 1st, then approach the line as you creep up one light comes on then the 2nd then you know your right on it! but this is the difficult bit (because your reaction time is included in the run time) two yellow light go on really quick then the green! and you go, but unlike sprinting where you get a little thinking time it all happens in a flash so when you seen the yellow let the clutch out cos it will be green straight away!
if you wana go really quick the idea is to take off in 2nd with big revs but i did not fancie wrecking my clutch! give it all in every gear! i was going try short shifting at 5500 revs but it started to rain so retired to the pub! but the best 20 quid ive spent!

think there going to offer it at this years bbwf! if not go on a website called run what you brung i thinks its www.rwub.co.uk or somehting like that highly recommend it!
Yes there are some of us going to Shakespeare Raceway near Stratford on the Sunday of BBWF for a "Run what you Brung" event - just driving licence & skid lid required.
It then depends on who's going to have the courage to have a blast in their P&J.
I might just have a gentle go without being silly - but - it is feasable that the horns will grow
Believe there is a Mini meet on at the same time.
