Heater Panel LEDs

Anyone know where I can get the heater panel yellow LED for my Chimaera? HHC don't have them anymore and told me prt number YY56L, but checked their website and they are discontinued. Also they won't send me the small green one from the heater panel because if I only buy this my order is too small . So I guess I need one of thee too.

Adam, I've got a spare yellow one from when I did mine, I bought a spare at the same time. Give me a ring or nip round.

Great. Thanks Andy. Where did you get it from? I tried HHC and they said they can't get them any more and I've just spent an hour on-line trying to find one.

I've got a bag of the yellow triangular ones if you need some more. Some kind Pistonheader sent me them when I needed one and there are still some left. Just shout and I'll send you some in the post.

The red and green round ones are Maplin parts if you need them.

Don't miss the series resitor buried in the old heat shrink, you'll need to transfer this resistor onto the new LED.

Hi Adam, Got them from Hexham Horseless Carriages, excellent service from a bloke called Graham. Have you got your oil pressure gauge sorted yet?

Andy, Thanks if you're around the CCR that would be great. Do you want me to bring your old dash in and we can do a swap? So you got yours from Hexham I tried Harrogate(two HHCs is confusing).

My oil pressure gauge still isn't sorted it will have to wait until the weekend now as I decided I didn't want to get pulled over in a car with no dash top. Unlikely I know, but could be embarassing. Also in the unlikely event of a crash I didn't fancy hitting my head on a piece of 1/8" plate!

There was a thread running in the Cerb forum about replacing the dash bulbs with LED's. I did mine from this place www.ultraleds.com
